Lord of the Clocks pt. 1a A Little Advice...
I loved everything except the storyline. This is mostly because you took the LOTR prologue and replaced things like 'elf' and 'ring' with clock and vote. And the story was exactly the same. While it seems many people enjoy re-watching LOTR thru a Clock lens, I want somthing a little different. Its not really all that hard... I mean, its as easy as animating scenes from the book that didn't make the movie (or do movie scenes as they were in the book). And add your own stuff! This is the Clock interpretation of Tolkien's works, as the most recent movies were Peter Jackson's interpretation. If you want to change the story substatially (like PJ sticking elves at Helm's deep), go for it... Although make sure you have a a much better reason then PJ's, or your likely to piss the LOTR buffs off.
It doesn't HAVE to be epic and legendary the whole time. You can add comedic sections to lighten the mood... although nothing totally ridiculous or random... Well, I'm probably not making very much sense, am I? I hope you get my meaning, I really do.
